If so, you may be a good fit for our Federal Sales Director role. We are currently looking for a highly motivated, energetic, self-starter to work in a fast-paced start-up environment. This role is responsible for managing existing lead systems and relationships for Wickr to build new business opportunities in key Federal segments. This role requires someone who is fearless in selling disruptive solutions into all businesses and reaching out to key prospects, stakeholders, and channels to build immediate and long-term business value. This position will report to the SVP of Sales and requires someone with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Essential Functions

  • Strategically identify, target, and close new accounts to generate revenue for the company.
  • Effectively communicate with product, technology and business departments, while coordinating and managing deliverables.
  • Meet or exceed sales and product objectives as assigned.
  • Work strategically with the SVP of Global Sales to identify trending opportunities/challenges and provide recommended solutions.
  • Prepare a GTM territory plan.
  • Prepare presentations and sales displays in order to pitch and sell products.
  • Effectively qualify leads and identify prospect needs, engaging technical resources as required.
  • Conduct high-level conversations with C and VP level Executives to address business needs.
  • Develop quotes, proposals, business cases and customer relationships.
  • Negotiate deal points and draft term sheets.
  • Utilize Salesforce to provide timely and accurate sales activity tracking and status updates.
  • Resolve client issues in a timely and thorough manner; escalates issues to manager as appropriate.
  • Keep informed of product line, competition and industry trends that may impact client business activities.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of success in closing Federal Government Enterprise sales opportunities from start through to completion with large customers

POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The Head of Customer Success at Wickr will direct and oversee the organization’s ongoing Customer satisfaction and growth. You will serve as a key member of our overall Customer Success Team. You will be responsible for setting the Customer Success strategy – including, but not limited to, managing multiple customers and serve as a primary Wickr interface, advisor and advocate. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about being a customer advocate and a trusted strategic advisor. You will build strong and long-lasting relationships with our customers and your efforts will drive customer satisfaction and happiness. Must have Public Sector experience as well as servicing Wickr’s Commercial enterprise customers.

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION:

 

  • Experience building out a Customer Success function from the ground up (preferred)
  • Develop and lead scalable cross-functional programs to drive success, increase adoption and retention, and turn stakeholders into champions
  • Serve as the voice of our customer to Wickr’s internal teams (sales, marketing, product, engineering, and support), promoting a customer-centric mindset across the organization
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to our customers by providing recommendations on how Wickr can address their goals, needs, and pain points
  • Collaborate with the Product team to share customer insights that inform future product developments
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to identify growth opportunities
  • Define key metrics for success, leveraging data to make informed business decisions and to drive revenue growth
  • Build out and manage the CSM team and the overall Onboarding process
  • Impactful leadership skills, including the ability to set a clear departmental strategy, drive urgency and results, and motivate
  • A natural ability to empathize with and advocate for our customers
  • Transform clients into champions by maintaining high levels of engagement and communication, conducting routine performance reporting, strategic planning, and business reviews
  • Drive customer advocacy in the form of case studies, testimonials, and referrals

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • 5+ years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, Strategic Partnership, Business Development, or related area
  • Public Sector experience is a must
  • Strong communication skills and high EQ makes you patient, tact, resilient, and equally effective in building consensus and deescalating conflict
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to learn quickly and manage multiple relationships while setting priorities and remaining organized
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the capacity to independently build convincing, data-driven decisions
  • Proactive, confident and energetic attitude with the desire to be a key player on a high-performing team

Are you passionate about privacy and interested in how you can use your software development skills to help protect people’s information by building really cool tools?  If so, you may be a good fit for our Voice / Video team.  You will be able to help create a world class video conferencing tool, empowering people to collaborate securely in real time with video, screen-sharing, and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Audio / Video Quality improvements within the existing video conferencing features
  • Develop new features for multiple resolution video streams
  • Develop new features for enhanced audio performance
  • Create automated tests for different networks and conditions
  • Fine tune audio / video algorithm parameters and settings for optimal performance
  • Collaborate with peers on the iOS, Android, and Desktop teams to help produce an excellent user experience.
  • Help build and deliver infrastructure solutions to support video conferencing features
  • Design for performance, scalability, availability, and VoIP security fundamentals
  • Work with devops engineers to help continuously deploy and test new client libraries and infrastructure
  • Attend meetings and standups as required to support the Company’s development efforts

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related field
  • Strong technical skills including an understanding of software development principles
  • Experience coding video conferencing / collaboration tools using WebRTC or similar technologies
  • Minimum 5 years of software development experience
  • Strong background in C++ 11 and STL
  • Experience working with H.264, H.265, VP8 or VP9 video codecs or opus audio codecs
  • Experience working with audio and video capturing on MacOS and Windows
  • Experience with real-time audio processing including Acoustic Echo Cancellation, Automatic Gain Control, and Noise Suppression
  • Experience with real-time image processing including scaling, cropping, and color space conversions
  • Experience with networking and socket programming, TLS / DTLS
  • Thorough understanding of key VoIP metrics (Jitter, Latency, Packet Loss)
  • Knowledge of cross-platform development with QT a plus
  • Agile Software Development and Management methods (i.e. user stories, iterative development, continuous integration, continuous delivery, shared ownership, test-driven development, etc.)
