Can you eloquently verbalize the use cases potential customers face and describe how software can solve customers’ problems? Do you have significant experience selling into the Federal Government? If so, you may be a good fit for our Federal Sales Director role. We are currently looking for a highly motivated, energetic, self-starter to work in a fast-paced start-up environment. This role is responsible for managing existing lead systems and relationships for Wickr to build new business opportunities in key Federal segments. This role requires someone who is fearless in selling disruptive solutions into all businesses and reaching out to key prospects, stakeholders, and channels to build immediate and long-term business value. This position will report to the SVP of Sales and requires someone with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Essential Functions

  • Strategically identify, target, and close new accounts to generate revenue for the company.
  • Effectively communicate with product, technology and business departments, while coordinating and managing deliverables.
  • Meet or exceed sales and product objectives as assigned.
  • Work strategically with the SVP of Global Sales to identify trending opportunities/challenges and provide recommended solutions.
  • Prepare a GTM territory plan.
  • Prepare presentations and sales displays in order to pitch and sell products.
  • Effectively qualify leads and identify prospect needs, engaging technical resources as required.
  • Conduct high-level conversations with C and VP level Executives to address business needs.
  • Develop quotes, proposals, business cases and customer relationships.
  • Negotiate deal points and draft term sheets.
  • Utilize Salesforce to provide timely and accurate sales activity tracking and status updates.
  • Resolve client issues in a timely and thorough manner; escalates issues to manager as appropriate.
  • Keep informed of product line, competition and industry trends that may impact client business activities.

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified

  • Understand how to sell value and ROI into C-Level
  • Proven track record of success in closing Federal Government Enterprise sales opportunities from start through to completion with large customers
  • Proven track record of success in delivering enterprise collaboration/security products to large Enterprise space clients

If so, you may be a good fit for Wickr’s Technical Support Specialist role.

This is a key role here at Wickr, responsible for providing detailed technical support to our customers relating to our SaaS cloud hosted and Enterprise Customer-hosted solutions. In this role, you will work with cutting edge technology, redefining the future of secure, private communications and help further our important commercial focused mission. To be successful in this role, you must be a self-starter, keen to learn and experiment with new technologies, and be able to work both independently and as part of a small team, while collaborating with cross-team members in the Product, DevOps and Engineering side of the house.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide tier 2 and 3 technical support via secure messaging (70%), email (20%), phone (10%), and secure messaging (20%), and escalate any unresolved issues to the appropriate team member, while maintaining continuous communications with the customer.
  • Find and replicate customer issues within Wickr’s own technologies, as well as, recommendations on work-arounds/solutions when it comes to integrating Wickr within the Customer environments.
  • Build and test server infrastructure on multiple Cloud platforms.
  • Deploy and test Wickr’s Enterprise customer-hosted platform.
  • Manage and document support tickets, ensuring each contains an accurate record while keeping the customer up to date on progress.
  • Help complete User Acceptance Testing (UAT) when bug fixes are released.
  • Start and contribute thoughtfully to projects that enhance the quality and efficiency of the Customer Success and Support teams.
  • Help drive the product direction based on customer feedback and usage.
  • Become a subject matter expert of Wickr technologies to help develop Technical Support FAQs, training materials, technical marketing collateral, manuals, troubleshooting guides, etc for both internal and external needs.
  • Cross collaboration with Product & Sales teams – help be the voice of the Customer.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Strong Systems Administration background (CentOS/Ubuntu).
  • Strong Bash and/or Python experience.
  • Cryptography experience a plus, but not required.
  • Experience working with Cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, VMWare, OpenStack) a plus.
  • Docker or Kubernetes knowledge a plus.
  • BOTs and API programming knowledge for troubleshooting purposes.
  • 2-4 years of technical customer support experience; SaaS or PaaS products preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with a good sense of humor.
  • Ability to say “I don’t know, but I can find out.”
  • Ability to debug complex and unique issues on both servers and end clients.
  • History of maintaining a professional attitude and remaining calm when working on difficult issues.
  • Must be willing to primarily work remotely, with your local team based around Austin, TX.
  • Ability to travel for key customer visits or with our teams across the US.
