Responsible for managing existing lead systems and relationships for Wickr to build new business opportunities in key Federal segments (IC preferred), this role requires someone who is fearless in selling disruptive solutions and reaching out to key prospects, stakeholders, and channels.  This position will report to the SVP of Sales and requires someone with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Essential Functions

  • Strategically identify, target, and close new accounts to generate revenue for the company.
  • Effectively communicate with product, technology and business departments, while coordinating and managing deliverables.
  • Meet or exceed sales and product objectives as assigned.
  • Work strategically with the SVP of Global Sales to identify trending opportunities/challenges and provide recommended solutions.
  • Prepare a GTM territory plan.
  • Prepare presentations and sales displays in order to pitch and sell products.
  • Effectively qualify leads and identify prospect needs, engaging technical resources as required.
  • Conduct high-level conversations with C and VP level Executives to address business needs.
  • Develop quotes, proposals, business cases and customer relationships.
  • Negotiate deal points and draft term sheets.
  • Utilize Salesforce to provide timely and accurate sales activity tracking and status updates.
  • Resolve client issues in a timely and thorough manner; escalates issues to manager as appropriate.
  • Keep informed of product line, competition and industry trends that may impact client business activities.

Qualifications:

  • Troubleshoot system errors, perform capacity planning, and maintain a highly-available infrastructure.
  • Support cloud infrastructure running on a variety of architectures such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Monitor availability and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks throughout the operational stack.
  • Ensure system and application patches are effectively deployed and up to date.
  • Perform system monitoring to verify the integrity and availability of the hardware, operating system and key processes.
  • Provide technical support during software deployments and operational incidents.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test and production instances.
  • Identify and analyze security vulnerabilities that may exist on the system and applications.
  • Ensure security vulnerabilities are remediated in accordance with Information Security policies.
  • Contribute to a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ prior experience in a DevOps, SRE, Infrastructure, or System Admin role.
  • Experience with AWS (Multi-Region) running in production.
  • Experience with building/deploying applications to Kubernetes (EKS).
  • Proficient in high-level scripting languages such as Python and script environments like Bash. Golang experience is preferred.
  • Experience with Docker containers and orchestration platforms.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment pipelines. Gitlab CI preferred.
  • Experience with monitoring, metrics, and visualization with tools like Prometheus, New Relic, Grafana, StatsD.
  • Able and willing to work independently and in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and minimal supervision.

We’re looking for a Senior Director of Engineering who has the depth of craft and proven ability to develop high-performing engineering teams. Wickr is hyper focused on customer success. The perfect candidate will be equally focused on building, delivering and scaling world-class products for large commercial and federal organizations.

The Senior Director of Engineering is someone who has earned respect through technical rigor, sound judgment, and leading by example. He/she is passionate about technology, people and learning. Above all else, the Senior Director / VP of Engineering will take a quantitative approach to leading and maximizing the efficiency of a team tasked with building products that save lives every day.

This role will lead multiple engineering teams within Wickr. He/she will immediately oversee a team of 30+ engineers based mostly in Austin, TX and New York, NY and build upon an already high velocity and highly effective remote work culture. This person will have overall ownership of the engineering discipline and technical strategy and will work closely with the product team, customers and Wickr leadership to develop and execute on long term roadmaps. A deep understanding of client server-based architectures and a focus on information security will be critical to this individual’s success. 

In addition to tackling engineering problems and scaling teams, the engineering leader will solve product and people challenges, bringing to bear not only technical skill but strategic business acumen. This person has experience leading large teams and works well with product management, user experience, and go-to-market and has experience working with enterprise customers.

Requirements for the Role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or equivalent)
  • 10+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Proficiency with one or more dynamic languages (Ruby, Python, JavaScript/Typescript, etc.)
  • Proficiency with one or more compiled languages (Swift, Kotlin, Golang, Rust, C/C++, etc.)
  • Familiarity with modern DevOps technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
  • 5+ years of significant engineering management experience (building and leading large teams) 
  • Experience deploying and scaling consumer or enterprise applications 
  • Experience developing collaborative applications w/ near real time interactions

Responsibilities:

  • Directly manage members of multiple engineering teams for technical and professional growth
  • Work with product management, design, and key stakeholders to set strategic direction for all Wickr platforms
  • Provide technical leadership across multiple engineering teams to assist teams in making sound architecture decisions, appropriate technology choices, etc.
  • Spend a significant amount of time writing code and reviewing code written by members of the engineering team

What We Seek:

We are seeking a Marketing Operations Manager to join our team as we accelerate our growth and investment in lead generation and demand generation programs. You will lead the key technology platforms that power our B2B and B2G growth strategies. Our current stack includes applications from HubSpot, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, and Bloomberg Gov.

The ideal candidate will be able to roll up their sleeves to work hands-on in the apps, but also to lead the strategy for optimizing the lead lifecycle in collaboration with Marketing Operations, Sales Operations, Demand Generation, and Sales Prospecting. You will be reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, but work closely with all of the sales, customer success, and marketing team members in the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Management – Automates the lead lifecycle through the multiple phases of the buyer’s journey. Manages attribution, scoring, and routing of leads for new accounts, upsell/cross-sell, and channel opportunities. Contributes to the goal of creating new pipeline opportunities.
  • Reporting and Metrics – Creates dashboards to track key marketing KPIs. Tracks campaign metrics such as leads, conversion rates, and new opportunities. Reports overall results such as number of leads, dollar value of pipeline, new bookings sourced.
  • Email Marketing – Collaborates with marketing teams to send email newsletters, curated content, and lead nurturing programs. Pulls distribution lists, creates A/B tests, schedules, sends, and tracks campaign performance.
  • Webinars – Collaborates with marketing and sales teams to execute webinar programs. Creates campaign assets, schedules sequence of email invitations, runs live production events and supervises on demand replays.
  • Database – Owns the marketing database including sourcing of data from external vendors. Ensures that the appropriate firmographic, technographic, and psychographic data fields are captured to execute marketing campaigns and sales prospecting activities.

Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of marketing operations, lead generation, account-based marketing, demand generation, and B2B/B2G growth strategy development.
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Expert experience in HubSpot (Marketing Automation Platform) and Salesforce is 100% required. Certifications are preferred.
  • Deep understanding of modern B2B marketing concepts used in Cloud/SaaS companies such as account-based marketing and inbound marketing
  • Email marketing guru with a love for metrics and reporting

Job Summary

Wickr has as an exciting opportunity to develop and execute a world class channel strategy within the Federal market! The Wickr approach to channel partners is a top priority and will be fundamental to our continued success. This strategy is how we will get secure collaboration capabilities in the hands of the government official or warfighter defending our Nation as fast as possible. In this role, you will have maximum autonomy, visibility, and support at the leadership level and across the company to drive this transformation. As the Director of Channel Management, you will be responsible for the development and execution of Wickr’s channel partner strategy, in order to build, cultivate, and expand our Federal go-to-market motion. You will be focused on the complete sales cycle with and thru partners across the Federal government. Operating at a strategic level, you will help create new programs and incentives to grow the Wickr partner ecosystem that meet the needs of both partners and customers.

Essential Functions

  • Solidifies the Federal distribution strategy that aligns with the reseller and Wickr sales team objectives
  • Proactively leads joint partner planning to develop mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and key milestones and metrics associated with the partner relationship
  • Coordinates development of sales and marketing material required for channel partner success
  • Manages sales pipeline, forecast monthly sales and identify new business opportunities up through the SVP, Global Sales
  • Creates and maintains account plans for distributors and resellers
  • Provides forecast updates and executes aggregate plans that deliver target revenue and bookings
  • Identifies, recruits, and on-boards new channel partners within assigned Federal segments
  • Develops strategy to drive deal registrations for each reseller partner
  • Responsible for Quarterly (or semi-annual) business reviews between Wickr sales teams and Resellers
  • Trains sales resources within the channel and attends client meetings when possible
  • Directs leads developed by channel to the appropriate Wickr sales executive
  • Liaises with sales and marketing to provide feedback and insight from partner perspective
  • Works with SVP, Global Sales, to manage potential channel conflict with other sales channels
  • Recommends product or services enhancements to improve customer satisfaction
  • Evaluates effectiveness and improves on overall partner program
  • Maintains the overall partner portal as the window to Wickr partner enablement and deal registration
  • Manages partner MDF via the Distributor

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of specific Federal channel sales experience.
  • Minimum of 3 references within the Federal channel sales ecosystem.
  • Experience in developing channel partnership programs within the Federal market.
  • Ability to provide structure, process and scale to a newly created channel Federal go-to-market motion.
  • Passion for mission, support to our Nation, and a biased for action and sense of urgency!
