Thomas Tull is a technology entrepreneur and investor. He is the founder and CEO of Tull Investment Group, a private technology investment firm providing capital for early to mid-stage companies.

Thomas Tull is also the founder, Chairman and CEO of Tulco, a differentiated investment holding company that enables subsidiary companies to unlock rapid, sustainable growth through the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning technology. Tull’s investments include Magic Leap, Pinterest, Zoox, Heal, Blend Systems, FIGS, RoadRunner, The Cipher Brief, and Oculus Rift, the latter which resulted in a lucrative exit to Facebook.

Tull previously served as founder, Chairman, and CEO of Legendary Entertainment, a leading media company with film, television, and digital and publishing divisions. Under Tull, Legendary’s associated productions realized grosses of more than $13 billion worldwide. In January 2016, the company was acquired by the Dalian Wanda Group for $3.5 billion.
Tull serves on the Board of Directors of Hamilton College, his alma mater, and Carnegie Mellon University. He also sits on the boards of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, the National Football Foundation, and the Smithsonian Institution. He is an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Harvard Business School and part of the six-time Super Bowl champion Pittsburgh Steelers ownership group, where he also holds a board seat.
