Wickr RAM

Encrypted communications built for the Department of Defense

Wickr RAM (Recall, Alert, and Messaging) is a Department of Defense (DOD) compliant end-to-end encrypted (E2EE) communication service. Wickr RAM can transmit controlled unclassified information (CUI), personal health information (PHI), and personally identifiable information (PII) as defined by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). It can be used on both personal and government-issued devices, across trusted and untrusted networks.

AWS Wickr ATAK Plugin

Full situational awareness and secure collaboration for the Military

To help reduce disruptions and operational risk, AWS Wickr has developed a plugin that enhances ATAK with secure communication features. ATAK users are provided with a Wickr Enterprise, Wickr RAM or AWS Wickr (formerly Wickr Pro) account, so they can utilize AWS Wickr within ATAK for secure messaging, calling, and file transfer. This eliminates interruptions, and the complexity of configuration with ATAK’s chat features.

Advanced security

AWS Wickr’s 256-bit end-to-end encryption (E2EE) ensures secure collaboration. Communications are encrypted locally on user devices, and are undecipherable in transit. Every call, message, and file is encrypted with a new random key, and no one but intended recipients and the customer organization can decrypt them, greatly reducing the risk of adversary-in-the-middle attacks.

Powerful integrations

AWS Wickr enables full control over military data and communications. Admins can take advantage of AWS Wickr’s automation capabilities, which enables users to interact with special automated users, or Bots. Use our existing Broadcast Bot to broadcast information to your entire network of users in a compliant and trusted manner, or work alongside AWS to build customized bots, integrations, and workflows that meet your specific needs.
