During re:Invent 2022, we were thrilled to announce the general availability of AWS Wickr—a new version of Wickr Pro that offers additional features. With AWS Wickr, you can protect business communications with 256-bit end-to-end encryption, while working to meet internal and external retention requirements for records.
AWS Wickr provides all of the features of Wickr Pro, along with cost benefits, data retention capabilities, and a straightforward user onboarding experience. AWS customers can quickly create and manage AWS Wickr networks through the AWS Management Console, and securely automate workflows with Wickr Bots.
Wickr Pro will be discontinued on January 31, 2024.
Next steps
Migrating to AWS Wickr is simple. Wickr Pro network admins can fill out the migration form to request the migration of existing Wickr Pro networks to AWS Wickr.
Migrations will begin March 1, 2023. AWS account IDs and Wickr Pro network IDs will be used to connect your AWS and Wickr accounts, and we will contact you once your network has been successfully migrated to AWS Wickr.
Visit the migration section of our frequently asked questions page to learn more. If you have any questions or concerns, contact us at wickr-support@amazon.com.
