Added Features

Desktop

  1. Rooms and direct messages can now be sorted alphabetically
  2. Added support for automatic update alerts when newer versions of the client are available
  3. Updated call screen interface icons and device selection screen
  4. Added an A/V device testing tool when starting or joining a call
  5. Added a reminder to add moderators when a room is first created.
  6. Changed the UI for the call icon when a call is in progress. Users can join a call in progress from the new banner instead of searching for the call message
  7. Added a new calling format called ‘Presenter Mode’. A host can now start a call while all other participants are restricted to listening only. This means others in the call cannot unmute, display video, or screenshare. ‘Presenter Mode’ can only be initiated by a call hosted from desktop (v5.62+) in this release
  8. Messages will now be read and can be responded to by bots assigned as moderators of a room if allowed in the Security Group
  9. Added a contextual menu to the room members list so it’s more evident a moderator can take action (i.e. remove from room or add/remove moderator)

  3. [iOS] When joining a call with audio only mode enabled, the “Audio Only mode” text disappears within a second and a blank screen is shown after receiving a call.
  4. [iOS] “Wickr Enterprise video” is shown in CallKit even when the other user has initiated
  5. [iOS] ‘Tap to Join Meeting’ green banner is not shown to user on room chat page when a user installs the app for the first time and someone initiates a call in room
